What is this Zinio Reader? Well, think of it as “an Acrobat Reader to digital magazines”. You get your magazine in a file ( around 30mb with the extension .zno) and then you can view it almost like it was on your hands. Very nice! High quality images and a cool “turn the page” system.
Drawbacks?
1) You have to pay for the magazines (although the reader itself is free);
2) large files
The companie´s promo:
The latest version of Zinio Reader enables editors and advertisers to inform, entertain, and connect with you in exciting new ways:
Animations and interactive content
Music and live audio interviews
Movie clips and TV commercials
Experience Rich Media now by downloading a sample issue. And look for interactive editorial features and advertisements in more of your favorite titles coming soon.
To your information i´m currently reading CosmoGIRL and The Digital Camera Magazine - november 2004 editions.
