The new Theme

I had to do this because every time I check the comments status I have more than 100 spam posts to moderate. Hope that this solves the issue.
Also, this new method doesn’t force you to write my name! Go ahead and try it!
Sunday work update:
- Livesearch seems to be working now! Just type something in the search box and try it!
- New “About Vitor” photo
- Other minor layout changes
- A new photo in my Photolog
Unlike what happen some months ago, I will not release my new Wordpress theme (wich I called Gollum 1.5) as there are plenty of other good themes for you to download now. Just check Alex King’s contest.
I must confess that one of the biggest pleasures I have is working on my website. That’s why I released this new layout unfinished.
Gollum 1.5 has more javascript than the previous version, the livesearch is still here (although it doesn’t work for some strange reason!) and the navigation menu has been improved (noticed the transparency effect?).
The header is a big .jpg image of me (some years ago..) surrounded my toys. You can also see the latest three thumbnails of the photolog.
I’ve made some changes to my .htaccess file in order to stop (well, at least decrease) the spam and corrected the Gravatars that you can see on the comments/single page.
There’s a lot to be done on the sidebar and footer, but with time things will come.

The comments only show up on mouse over, I dont know if that’s a good option.
It’s risky because non-javascript activated browsers/users will not see this option. But I wanted to do something original.
Lets see if the “I swear anti-spam” thing works!
