Le ciel lui tombe sur la tête
Posted: October 17th, 2005 | Author: Vitor | Filed under: Personal |Just finished reading the new Uderzo’s Astérix adventure (Le ciel lui tombe sur la tête or Astérix and the falling Sky or in portuguese Astérix O Céu Cai-lhe em Cima da Cabeça ).
I was even thinking on writing this blog entry in french (as the book I’ve read was in french) but I´ve realised that my french is even worse than my english… Anyway, nice reading even though the Superman-Schwarzenegger-like and the Mickey-Mouse-alien-like characters seemed odd at first.
Also today, I’ve worked on my blog’s new layout (a Wordpress theme that I have called “Blocks”), and that is going to dress up my website on November the 1st, in time for the CSS Reboot contest that I submitted myself to. The only resemblance with the actual theme/layout is the fixed box structure of 760 pixels centered on the screen.
I really dont know if I go for that last Asterix book. Since the distribution went to ASA editors they’ve changed the name of all characters (excluding Asterix, Obelix and Panoramix) and Roman camps… Now they all have “portuguesealike” names… Dont like it. Do you?
They have changed their names? Didn’t know that because I´ve read the french version. I wanted to read exactly what the author wrote.
Seems that I’ve made a good choice.
THumbs down to folks at ASA.
