An idea (stolen from “Observer”): download a ringtone for your car! Yep, as hydrogen cars produce almost no sound, Toyota and other companies are thinking in giving the ability to their owners to download ring tones that will play on nearby pedestrians.

“Blogs are shifting the balance of power” article by Patti Waldmeir on FT was nice to read today, after doing Statistics II exam and failing Econometrics…
She tells the story of Kryptonite - do not confuse with the Superman stuff - a company that produces bike locks: a video spread in the blogosphere in September showing how to pick a Kryptonite lock with a ballpoint pen. Result: the company exchanged more than 300000 locks at a cost over $10 000 000…
Blogs (I would say Internet) Have (has) shifted the balance of power between man and business, with man now on the upper hand.
Some of you may see this in a “hacker moral way”, like it forces companies to improve their products; others will see it as the need of regulation for cyberspace. I like both, and agree with the author when she says that as blogging becomes more than a niche pastime this issue concerns more than nerds.

After spending a lot of money browsing my weblog on my Nokia’s 6630 browser (that, contrary to what Russel says, is better than Opera’s mobile browser), I decided to implement another of Alex’s plugins: Wordpress Mobile.
This script will redirect of mobile’s browser to a “light” version of my blog. I think you can see the result here, for example. Just type my url and the click the “Mimic It” button to emulate it. I’ll post some print screens soon.
I still need to do some changes in the code to make the page even lighter, but that will have to wait for the end of the exam season.
Google is also going Mobile:
Google search, in the palm of your hand
Google Mobile makes it easy to access online information — over 8 billion pages and a billion images — on your cell phone or mobile device.

The problem was on the “Popular Posts” plugin from Alex. All seems to be working fine now!
I’m having a problem with my Rss feeds:
although I have set on the “Options” > “Reading” > “Syndications Feeds” > “Number of Posts = 6″ only one post is displayed! Does anyone knowhow to solve this strange bug?
I’m using Wordpress 1.5.1.2.
Thanks to Vitor Domingos for having found the problem (when adding my blog to Asterisco).
