Super BowlWe european all know what Super Bowl is thanks to Janet Jackson. Take a look at this year’s commercials on this website.
2.5 million dollars per 30 second airing - at least a million dollar minimum to create - and IMHO some are really quite funny!

News Site: 10 x 10

Found a very nice news website: 10 x 10 (ten by ten). It is…

an interactive exploration of the words and pictures that define the time. The result is an often moving, sometimes shocking, occasionally frivolous, but always fitting snapshot of our world. Every hour, 10×10 collects the 100 words and pictures that matter most on a global scale, and presents them as a single image

Worth a visit.

Xvid vs Hollywood

A nice article about Hollywood movie leakeage: Pirating the Oscar 2005 Screeners, where you can see if the “industry’s evolving efforts to plug the leaks were any more effective this year”.
Why the strange “Xvid” text in the title? It’s the common format for screeners downloaded on the web (Divx mirrored).

Also don’t forget to see the Oscar’s nominees here or on the official site. I still have to watch:

  • “The Aviator” (Miramax, Initial Entertainment Group and Warner Bros.)
  • “Finding Neverland” (Miramax)
  • “Million Dollar Baby” (Warner Bros.)
  • “Ray” (Universal)
  • “Sideways” (Fox Searchlight/20th Century Fox)

TAP PortugalIts a good time to travel by plane if you live in Portugal. Not also “low cost” companie Ryanair is offering cheap flights to England (starting €19, as you can read on Dn in portuguese), as TAP, the portuguese airline, is now on the competition with 60 000 tickets, €60 each, to any Europe country celebrating it’s 60th anniversary.
Honey, pack you suitcases!

Metrosexuals

According to last week Financial Times “Business of Fashion” enclusure, Metrosexuals (straight men who knows and care about fashion, food and good grooming with enough self-believe to be completely open about it) are a myth.

A year ago they were ready to take over the world. Now it’s hard to believe Metrosexual man ever existed

Also, you should know that the next trend on men’s wear will be the single-button suit.
