Maybe it´s just a coincidence, maybe a stupid observation, but two of the bloggers from “My Favourites” are unemployed. Check here and here.
Can the action of blogging be correlated with unemployment? Don´t think so. But feel free to share your point of view.
By the way, if you´re one of those: “blogging made me loose my job” type of people, you should read this reasearch article about :

Now this is interesting: this article from BBC News says that Asian folks keep contact with God through their cellphones! A curious way to embrace technology!
Hi Vitor. Thanks for listing me as one of your favourites.
Nope, blogging didn’t cost me my job
In fact my portfolio website (which turned into a weblog) got me my first job in a newsroom, my second job in a web consultancy, and was partly responsible for getting me my third job.
I quit because I was supposed to manage a web portal which got closed down within two months, putting me in an administrative role which I didn’t like (think spreadsheets, lots of form-filling and Minutes) or excel in.
Actually I think it appears that more bloggers are unemployed because they actually write about it. There are also lots of non-bloggers who are in the same situation as us, but I don’t recall seeing anyone from the likes of Enron blogging, per se
