Medals of honour…

Although Portugal lost the final 1-0 to Greece on Sunday the players received an honour of heros.
I agree with this gesture.
What i don´t agree is that some ministers following the trend, are now medaling all kinds of intervinients on the Euro organisation. For God´s sake, it was their job to assure that all went well!
And why the hell do we celebrate a defeat?? We do need to now how to behave when defeated, but celebrate? Couldnt we just act normal instead?

A computer science researcher has highlighted the shortcomings of Microsoft’s latest patch for its Internet Explorer browser by identifying another way that online vandals could run malicious programs on a Web surfer’s computer.

More than three programs in a computer around the globe are thought to be illegal copies of software. China and Vietnam stats are at all time high with the figure rising to 9 out of 10, according to Financial Times.
IDC, a market research firm, reported a loss of $29 billion last year due to software piracy.
The piracy rate was around 36 percent last year, but rose significantly in certain parts of the world - China and Vietnam 92 percent growth rate, Ukraine 91 percent growth rate, Indonesia 88 percent growth rate, Russia 87 percent growth rate, and Zimbabwe 87 percent growth rate.
The United States managed to get the lowest growth rates at 22 percent, along with New Zealand and Denmark at 23 and 26 percent.

In Portugal the situation isn´t much different: 41% of our software is pirated, according to Business Software Alliance.
